About Theresa

Born and raised in upstate New York, spending summers in and around Bennington VT, it was a great job that brought Theresa to Vermont. 

After completing a two and a half year US Peace Corps assignment in Micronesia, she traveled the state working with regulated utilities while leading the Vermont Department of Public Service’s Consumer Advocacy Division. 

Following the birth of two daughters, her work focused on the environment and public schools. Working with a slate of public and private partners, she helped design and implement an award winning school composting diversion program. She later developed a comprehensive closed loop sustainability program that integrated local foods and composting into schools’ meal service programs in both VT and NH. 

She has served and continues to serve on numerous non-profit boards including "All Brains Belong," a community medical practice that focuses on neurodiversity and equitable inclusion within community, and the Montpelier Roxbury Public Schools Partners in Education.

With in-depth knowledge of the entire state, Theresa appreciates all that Vermont has to offer and truly enjoys helping homeowners find that perfect buyer and helping buyers find that perfect Vermont home. A long time community volunteer, she resides in Montpelier.
