Focus on Art: The Kent Museum

Although Vermont is small and rural I am always amazed by the vibrant arts scene in this little state. I just went to the Kent Museum Art expo called Refuge: Vermont Artists Respond. This is a gathering of several different artists, painters, wood workers, textile artists and many more who are all using the historic Kent House to show their art. There are workshops, music, poetry and just fantastic conversations with all the visitors to this wonderful program which has a different theme and changing artists every year. Don’t miss the opportunity to drive out through the amazing foliage and stop by to take in the art work and camaraderie. It runs from September 8th to October 8th Fridays through Sundays 10 am to 5 pm.
